Nile Cruise to Luxor & Aswan
Luxor has often been called the world’s greatest open air museum, and indeed it is and much more. The number and preservation of the monuments in the Luxor area are unparalleled anywhere else in the world. Actually, Luxor consists of three different areas: the City of Luxor on the East side of the Nile, the town of Karnak just north of Luxor, and Thebes (called Waset by the ancient Egyptians) on the west side of the Nile across from Luxor.
Aswan, Egypt's sunniest southern city and ancient frontier town located about 81 miles south of Luxor, has a distinctively African atmosphere. Its ancient Egyptian name was Syene.

The Nile Cruise takes 4 days and 3 nights. Fly by air from Cairo to Aswan, take the Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor, then fly back from Luxor to Cairo.

The cruise will be before the conference (December 16-19, 2009). There is also the possibility of joining a cruise after the conference, however this will be subject to request and availability as it is the Christmas season and to guarantee reservation during this period booking and payment should be done at least 2 months in advance.

Day 01 (December 16, 2009):
- Arrival at Aswan international airport (Flight not included)
- Meeting and transfer to The Nile Dock for Embarkation for cruising boat.
- Lunch then visit High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk
- View Botanical Island by felucca sailing
- Dinner & Overnight in Aswan on board

Day 02 (December 17, 2009):
- Sail to Kom Ombo, Visit Kom Ombo temple
- Lunch. Sail to Edfu, Visit Edfu Temple
- Dinner & Overnight in Edfu on board

Day 03 (December 18, 2009):
- Sail to Luxor, visit the East bank including:
* Karnak & Luxor temples
* Lunch, dinner and overnight in Luxor on board

Day 04 (December 19, 2009):
- Disembarkation after breakfast
- Cross the Nile to the west bank to visit Valley of The Kings, Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon
- Transfer to airport fly back to Cairo, then transfer to international airport for final departure

Cost of Domestic Flight (Cairo-Aswan and Luxor Cairo)
The price of the flight varies between $155 & $215 per person according to class availability.

Cost of Cruise (4 days and 3 nights)
Per person in Single room: $470.00
Per person in Double room: $315.00

The cost Cruise includes:
- 3 Nights Full board at 5 Star Nile Cruise starting with lunch/ending with breakfast
- All transfers Airport/ Nile Cruise/Airport
- All the entrance fees accompanied by English speaking guide

The above costs do not includes: entry visa to Egypt and any extras not mentioned in the above program
